Accreditation

WAS LOGOWASC Accreditation History for Heritage Oak School

Heritage Oak School was established in 1994 as a ministry of Country Oaks Baptist Church in order to give Christian families an education with a Christian world view integrated into every subject.  In 1999, the school became a member of the Association of Classical and Christian Schools. From that time, the school dedicated itself to a classical and Christian world view methodology in the education of its students.  In June of 2008, Heritage Oak School was granted a three year initial accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for grades 7-12.  Accreditation ensures an ongoing improvement of our school and gives our community the assurance that our school’s purposes are being accomplished.  Graduates will have more options as they apply to colleges.  Heritage Oak School completed a full self-study and was evaluated by WASC in the spring of 2011.
