Mrs. Lety Wills, Fifth Grade
Notes for: May
“He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.” Titus 1:9
It is hard to believe that this is our last month of the school year. This school year has gone by so fast. I hope that this year’s yearbook will help you and your student recall all the memories created and shared here at HOS. I am so pleased with how well the students did this year. Not only did they grow in knowledge but they grew stronger in their faith and love for Christ. Their spiritual growth is so evident in their maturity and choices, it melts my heart.Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with me again this year. I am so blessed to have taught them. Blessings to all in the upcoming school year & have a great summer!
About Mrs. Wills:
I’ve been married to my husband, Rob, for 17 years and we have three children: Selena, 15, Tommy, 12 and Isaac, 7. It was love at first sight and three months later we eloped. In May of 2010 we celebrated by renewing our vows, renewing family vows, and having the wedding celebration we never had. It was an opportunity to witness to all our friends and family and honor God for His faithfulness and love.
This November marked 5 years since we left our family and friends in Santa Clarita and followed God’s calling to move up to Tehachapi. Our family church is Church of the Nazarene. Our ministries consist in prayer chain, meals and communion. Our family motto is: “Just have a servant’s heart.”
I have been in education for 18 years and nursing for 2 years. My degree is in Family Studies. I have a passion for Classical Education and drive for excellence. My desire at Heritage Oak School is to share with all students God’s Word and His love for each and every one of my students. To share how uniquely and purposefully He made them and to assist in training them so that one day they may serve Him. A person I most admire in Classical Education is our administrator, Rich Engel. His passion for Heritage, root learning and Christ makes a big impression.
My favorite things: outings with my family, cooking for my family, watching my family grow not just in wisdom but closer to Christ (especially during the hard times).
