At Heritage Oak, we understand choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent.

God clearly commissions parents in Deuteronomy 6 with the responsibility of seeing to their child’s education throughout the entire day. Therefore, it’s our desire to help families navigate the educational waters of Tehachapi and assist parents in understanding how Heritage Oak can uniquely assist them in meeting the spiritual, academic, and social needs of each individual child.

Smaller class sizes and mentor teachers, who are grounded in the Scriptures, are hallmarks of Heritage Oak School. We seek to foster in each student a love for God and others (Matt. 22:36-40) and excellence in all things (Col. 3:17) within a culture of grace. We aim for our graduates to be lifelong learners who understand their mission in life is to honor Christ in whatever role He may call them to fulfill.

In order to best meet these worthy goals, Heritage Oak has set forth 3 requirements of parents before applying for admission into the school in order to establish a unified relationship between students, parents, and the school:

Because we are committed to the principles of Deuteronomy 6 and we want to encourage parents in their desire to be highly involved in their child’s education and daily life, we request each family contribute 3 hours per week to volunteer at the school in some capacity. This helps keep tuition as affordable as possible while allowing parents to be in community with their children.

We would love to schedule a tour of the school for your family. Please schedule a tour online to set up a time to visit. We look forward to meeting you soon!
