Art
At Heritage Oak School, our Classical Christian education includes the Arts. Our Grammar School Art Director facilitates the Grammar student’s participation in the Meet the Masters curriculum. This program exposes the students to 35 master artists with different styles and cultural backgrounds. Students learn the Masters’ history and techniques, and afterward, they create their own art using techniques from each artist they’ve learned about. Students also have the opportunity to participate in various art activities throughout the year, including the Academy of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Annual Art Event.
Rhetoric School students study Art History from a biblical perspective and practice several classic art techniques.
Music & Choir
All students participate in choir beginning in first grade. Instruction includes music theory and history, rhythm practice and vocal instruction in preparation for special occasion performances throughout the year. The Grammar School performs an annual spring musical and the Logic and Rhetoric Schools perform at various events throughout the year.
Drama
Logic and Rhetoric students have an opportunity to participate in our after school Drama Club which includes all areas of production: staging, lighting, programs and advertising. Typically the club performs two plays throughout the year.
