Jacob Douglas

6th Grade

Jacob Douglas is a graduate of San Marcos State University and has a bachelors in History. He was born and raised in the Placer county area in Northern California. He has wanted to be a teacher since middle school and has enjoyed teaching at Heritage Oak School. This is his third year at HOS teaching sixth graders.

“I have enjoyed seeing the culture of Heritage Oak and the wonderful community that is around the school – from the great parents to the amazing staff that truly care about the students. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to teach at HOS. “

Mr. Douglas’ favorite verses are Jeremiah 29:11 and Isaiah 40:27-31.

“These verses remind me to always trust in the Lord even when you don’t understand what is happening; He is in control and wants what is best for me. I know that He will keep His hand over me and give me the strength to complete whatever He sets out before me. I know when I trust in Him all things are possible.”
