Lauren Kepler

Humanities, Grammar & Writing

Mrs. Kepler graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with her B.A. in education and her preliminary teaching credential. This is her second year teaching at Heritage Oak School and she is new to the Tehachapi area. Prior to working for Heritage Oak, Mrs. Kepler worked for a Bakersfield non-profit, teaching students about agriculture and cooking. Mrs. Kepler’s favorite verse is Philippians 4:8.

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

This verse reminds me why I was interested in working at Heritage Oak School, to be in an environment where I am able to witness my students growing in these attributes is such an unfathomable blessing!
