Financial Assistance
Need financial assistance for your student’s tuition?
It is the desire of the Heritage Oak School Board to keep tuition as affordable as possible and that no child should miss out on the opportunity for a Christian education due to various financial situations that might arise within families. We encourage you not to let finances impede upon a relationship with Heritage Oak that the Lord may be directing. We are confident that the Lord will provide a way for us to partner together with those He is calling to our school. It should be noted, however, that private education in a Christian environment will always require commitment and sacrifice on the part of the parent. Parents applying for tuition scholarships are encouraged to take advantage of the SCRIP Program in order to help meet tuition costs.
Heritage Oak School uses an outside private company, FAST (Financial Aid for Student Tuition) to determine the financial needs of the family. Families must re‐apply each year for financial aid.
Breaking Barriers with Financial Assistance: Tuition Scholarships
At Heritage Oak School, we firmly believe that education should be accessible to all aspiring learners, regardless of financial constraints. Our Tuition Scholarship program is designed to break down barriers and open doors to educational opportunities for deserving students.
Application for Financial Aid Procedure:
- Meet the FAST criteria for financial aid listed below.
- Fill out the FAST application online here, upload the necessary supporting documentation, and pay a processing fee of $45 through the online application website.
- Complete applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on April 15th for returning families (new families should fill out the online FAST application prior to turning in new admission paperwork). Missing documentation (such as omitting to submit tax forms) or incomplete documents (such as leaving any section of the application blank) will slow down the qualifying process or could result in a loss of award if all funds have been distributed prior to completion since FAST does not finalize your financial aid request until all items are complete and have been submitted.
- Please fill out a HOS Tuition Assistance Questionnaire at the time of re‐enrollment and return it to the school office by May 1st (new families should submit this form with enrollment forms when applying).
Who should apply for aid?
FAST has found that a family’s income is the best indicator of need. Therefore, the general rule of thumb is as follows:
Income is under $42,000 – If your family’s adjusted gross income is under $42,000, you will probably qualify for aid.
